As of 12 February 2021

In response to COVID-19, we have dropped our booking fee to 25% from 50%.

Cancellations due to COVID-19 or anything of similar nature/act of God will entitle you to a credit towards a future booking. No refunds will be given on the booking fee however it can be used for a credit towards a future booking. If you prefer to postpone your event, please notify Hazal Memories to check that they are available otherwise you agree that your booking fee will be forfeited or stored as credit for the future.

What are your rates?

All of our pricing and packages are available to view online.

Do I need to pay a booking fee?

Yes, we require a 50% booking fee to lock your booking in plus any travel involved. This is required within 24 hours of having an invoice sent. If you do not pay your booking fee, the date will be made available again. Your booking fee is non-refundable. If you pay in full and you happen to cancel, your 50% booking fee is lost and the remaining 50% is refunded back to you. Full payment is required before we leave your event.

If I cancel my booking, do I get a refund on my booking fee?

Your booking fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances as the booking fee covers our time, administrative fees and it goes towards reserving a time slot as we mark ourselves as unavailable to schedule work for that date and time.

What if I can't pay the remaining balance on time?

First of all, let us know! We will extend your invoice time, however if you fail to let us know, a late fee will be added to your invoice for everyday that it is overdue. If your overdue invoice exceeds 1 month, your images will be deleted from our backup.

When does my quote expire?

Quotes are valid for 1 week. To lock your quote in, a booking fee is required within 24 hours of your invoice being sent. Prices may change without notice.

Can I reschedule or change my package type after I have paid the booking fee?

If you reschedule or change your package type after the booking fee has been paid, you must change to a package that is the same or higher in value.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, you do! A digital receipt will be sent to you automatically once your payment has been made using our invoicing system.

Do you do payment plans?

Yes, we do! Simply contact us to discuss further.

What do you shoot with?

All events are shot with professional Canon bodies such as the R5 & R6, L series lenses and L series flashes.

What happens to my images if your card corrupts?

All images are backed up onto two cards at once during your event/session. Should anything happen to one of the cards during/after your event/session, there is a second card to fall back onto. In the EXTREMELY unlikely event of both cards corrupting, we will do best to recover the images, and if this is unsuccessful we will provide you a refund in full. It's never happened, so don't stress!

Do you price match?

In order for us to deliver to the best of our standards, we do not price match.

What is your standard editing? (Functions & Events)

Our standard editing includes global adjustments like enhancing the colours and vibrancy of your images, fixing the lighting/exposure and composition. Please note that retouching is not included in our standard editing procedures. Retouching does incur extra fees.

I don't want my photographs to be used online. Are you able to keep them private?

We reserve the right to upload any of our work online. However if you request photos from your session to be taken be down, we charge a $55 fee.

How do I get my images?

Your images will be delivered to you via an online gallery that can be downloaded in full resolution. USB's are an additional $15.

How long does it take to receive my images?

Please refer to your signed agreement for a rough guide, however it generally takes 3-5 weeks for standard functions. Weddings can take anywhere between 5-12 weeks. We also offer a priority editing service, contact us for more information.

Can I get RAW or unedited JPEG images?

Please contact us to discuss. Additional fees will apply, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.

Do you print?

Yes we do! We offer a wide range of products on request. Simply contact us for more details.

Do you offer videography services?

No, we don't. However we can send you recommendations once you book.
