We will only schedule your session between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. If you are past this mark, please reach out and we will see what last minute spots there are available. If you are enquiring early, we will NOT schedule you past 34 weeks.

Please check spam/junk folders if you have not received a response from us after 3 days. We reply to ALL enquiries. Please also ensure your mailbox is not full, as this means our email will not be delivered to you.

Maternity FAQ

At how many weeks do you generally photograph maternity sessions?

If you are pregnant with 1 baby, we schedule your session between the 28-34 week mark. This ensures optimal posing and comfort.

We will only schedule your session between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. If you are past this mark, please reach out and we will see what last minute spots there are available. If you are enquiring early, we will not willingly schedule you past 34 weeks as the session can be held earlier.

If you are pregnant with more than one baby, we will schedule your session in earlier, around 25-30 weeks, but this may change depending on how big your bump has popped. With twin+ pregnancies, you do not complete 40 weeks so we schedule you in a lot earlier.

What do I need to bring with me?

Once you are locked in with us, we will send you a session preparation guide. No need to worry :)

I'm insecure and don't know how to pose!

Do not worry. Nese is there to fully guide you, head to toe to achieve your best angles. Don't worry about your blemishes and insecurities. We all have them! She is there to help you look your best.

Can I supply my own outfit?

You absolutely can! Please remember each package has a certain number of looks included, so regardless of you supplying your own outfits, the look count remains the same.

What is required to lock a session in?

We require a 25% booking fee to lock your booking in. This is required within 24 hours of having an invoice sent. Remaining balance is required 48 business hours before your booking.
If you do not pay your booking fee within the specified timeframe, the date will be made available again. Your booking fee is non-refundable. If you pay in full and you happen to cancel, your 25% booking fee is lost and the remaining 75% is refunded back to you.

If I cancel my booking, do I get a refund on my booking fee?

Your booking fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances including but limited to early birth. As the booking fee covers our time, administrative fees and it goes towards reserving a time slot as we mark ourselves as unavailable to schedule work for that date and time.

We will gladly reschedule you for a mummy and me or a different session of your choice.

The price on the website changed before I booked you in. Can I lock you in for the old price?

Prices are subject to change without notice. If you have paid a booking fee, your package price and inclusions will not change.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We are more than happy to help with payment plans.
We require 25% upfront within 24 hours of the invoice being issued to you to lock a spot in with us. We then require another 25% 48 hours before your session in order for the session to commence. You may then split the rest of the payment (50%) across 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Please note that post production does not commence until the full payment has been received. Once full payment has been made, we will then get working on your gorgeous images!

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, you do! A digital receipt will be sent to you automatically once your payment has been made using our invoicing system.

Can I reschedule or change my package type after I have paid the booking fee?

If you reschedule or change your package type after the booking fee has been paid, you must change to a package that is the same or higher in value.

What do you shoot with?

All bookings are shot with professional Canon bodies such as the R5 & R6, L series lenses. Elinchrom and Nanlite lighting gear is used in the studio.

What happens to my images if your card corrupts?

All images are backed up onto two cards at once during your session. Should anything happen to one of the cards during/after your event/session, there is a second card to fall back onto. In the EXTREMELY unlikely event of both cards corrupting, we will do best to recover the images, and if this is unsuccessful we will offer a reshoot if it is possible, otherwise provide you a refund in full. It's never happened, so don't stress!

Do you price match?

In order for us to deliver to the best of our standards, we do not price match.

I don't want my photographs to be used online. Are you able to keep them private?

If you request photos from your session to be kept private, we respect that. Simply let us know in advance.

How do I get my images?

Your images will be delivered to you via an online gallery that can be downloaded in full resolution. USB's are an additional $15.

How long does it take to receive my images?

Please refer to your signed agreement for a rough guide.

Can I get RAW or unedited JPEG images?

Unfortunately not. When booking us, you are paying for the final outcome and experience. We don't pass on RAW or unedited files as they don't represent our artistic vision.

Do you print?

Yes we do! Visit the print store in your final gallery to view products. You can order directly through the print store!

I need a weekend or a public holiday, can I book this in?

You may, but weekends and public holidays incur a 10% surcharge and is subject to availability.

Can my partner or child be in the photos?

Yes, absolutely. We allow partners and siblings to be in the photos at no extra cost.

Children MUST be accompanied by another adult that isn’t being photographed at ALL times. This ensures they are happy and safe with a loved one while we get to focus on creating beautiful portraits with you and your partner when they are not in the photos.

You are welcome to bring a friend with you to your session for support.

Do you accept phone calls?

As much as we would love to chat with you, we unfortunately cannot take phone calls on at the moment. We are inundated with enquiries, so it is extremely hard to keep track. We need everything in writing to look back onto when required. Email is the best method of contact for us.

COVID-19

Cancellations due to COVID-19 or anything of similar nature/act of God will entitle you to a rescheduled session date.
No refunds will be given on the booking fee. If you prefer to cancel, you agree that your booking fee is forfeited.
